Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026.
This policy covers the clockoli.com website. The Clockoli browser extension has its own extension privacy policy: it sends your time records to GitHub, never to us.
Who we are
clockoli.com is operated by Manticore Software Ltd. Email contact@clockoli.com about anything in this policy.
What we collect
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in its EU region, to see how the page is used. It records:
- the pages you view, the domain of the site that sent you, and the campaign parameters in the link you followed (
utm_*,gclid,fbclid,ref); - how far you scroll, which sections you reach, how long the page is in front of you, and the links and buttons you click, including the address and text of links to other sites;
- your screen-size class, window width, and light or dark theme;
- your IP address, which PostHog receives with every request and may use to estimate your country and city.
PostHog keeps a random visitor identifier in a first-party cookie and in local storage, so a return visit counts as the same visitor. Session recording, surveys and error capture are switched off.
Feature votes
Votes are stored as a count per roadmap item in a Cloudflare D1 database. To count one vote per network, we also store a truncated, salted HMAC of your IP address and the item. The IP address itself is never stored or logged. Your browser remembers which items you voted for.
Notify me requests
If you choose to leave an email address or GitHub handle, we store it with the roadmap item you asked about and the time you asked. We use it to send one message when that item ships, and for nothing else. It is also attached to your PostHog visitor record, so we can see which visits led to a request.
Email us at any time to have it deleted.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the technical data every web request carries, including your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.
What your browser stores
clockoli-theme: the light or dark theme you picked.clockoli-votedandclockoli-notify: the items you voted for, and whether you have already answered the notify prompt.clockoli_seen: whether you have visited before, reported to analytics as a return visit.clockoli_utm, in session storage: the campaign parameters of the current visit.- PostHog’s
ph_cookie and local-storage entry: the random visitor identifier.
The last three exist only while analytics is enabled.
Who receives data
- PostHog, for analytics.
- Cloudflare, for hosting and for the database that holds votes and notify requests.
We do not sell personal data, and the site loads no advertising trackers.
Legal basis
- Notify me requests: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
- Votes and hosting: our legitimate interest in running the site and counting votes fairly.
- Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete data about you, or object to its use, by emailing contact@clockoli.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. The site works the same with analytics blocked.
